New to Energy Healing?
Energy healing can help with a range of issues including pain, grief, low energy, low range of mobility, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression, low confidence, low self-esteem, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). However, the effectiveness can vary depending on the individual and the specific issue or goal. It’s recommended to book a free consultation to discuss your specific needs.
You and Brenda will talk, so that you can get to know each other and build trust. You can explain what is currently happening in your life. Brenda traditionally begins her healing sessions by doing a type of Intuitive Reading to see what ceremonies might be right for you at this time in your life. Then she will start by Balancing your Chakras, removing any rips or tears in your Aura, and Gifting you with Medicine Wheels of Protection. Brenda can do a Smudge on you and your home, from a distance. This helps remove stale heavy energy.

Energy healing is a holistic practice that activates the body’s subtle energy systems to remove blocks. By breaking through these energetic blocks, the body’s inherent ability to heal itself is stimulated. It can help free you from pain, self-sabotage, subconscious fears, unhelpful emotions, and beliefs.

Reiki FAQ’s
North American Shaman Ceremonies or Journeys and Reiki are both spiritual practices that involve healing and energy work, but they originate from different cultural traditions and have distinct approaches.
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that focuses on channelling Universal Life Force Energy. It was developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. Reiki practitioners use their hands to direct healing energy into the recipient’s body, promoting balance and well-being on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
QiGong, also spelled Chigong, is an ancient Chinese Practice that combines movement, breath control, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body’s vital energy, known as Qi (pronounced “chee”). It is a holistic practice that promotes physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
North American Shaman Ceremonies or Journeys are spiritual practices rooted in the Indigenous Cultures of North America. They involve entering altered states of consciousness to connect with the spirit world, seek guidance, and promote healing. Shamanic Ceremonies often incorporate rituals, and interaction with Power Animals or Ancestral Spirits.
North American Shaman Ceremonies or Journeys and Reiki differ in several ways:
- Cultural Origin: Shamanic Ceremonies originate from the Indigenous Cultures of North America, while Reiki comes from Japanese Traditions. They have different cultural contexts, symbolism, and philosophical foundations.
- Spiritual Practices: Shamanic ceremonies involve entering altered states of consciousness through various techniques, such as drumming, chanting, and rituals. They often focus on connecting with spirits, power animals, and ancestral guides. Reiki, on the other hand, primarily involves channeling healing energy through the hands, without necessarily accessing altered states of consciousness.
- Approach to Healing: Shamanic Ceremonies often address holistic healing, encompassing physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. They may involve rituals, herbal remedies, and spiritual cleansing. Reiki, while also holistic, primarily focuses on energy healing through the practitioner’s hands, aiming to balance the energy centers (Chakras) within the body.
- Training and Initiation: Becoming a Shaman often involves a rigorous training process, including apprenticeship, initiation, and guidance from experienced practitioners. Reiki practitioners undergo training and receive attunements from Reiki Masters to open their energy channels and learn the specific techniques of Reiki healing.
- Belief Systems: Shamanic Ceremonies are deeply rooted in animism and the belief in spirits, nature, and ancestral connections. Reiki, while spiritual in nature, does not necessarily involve specific beliefs or religious practices. It can be practiced by individuals from various cultural and religious backgrounds.
Yes, it is possible to integrate elements of North American Shaman Ceremonies or Journeys into Reiki practices. Some Reiki practitioners may choose to incorporate rituals, symbols, or guided visualizations inspired by Indigenous Traditions as a way to enhance their spiritual connection and intention during the healing process. However, it is important to approach these integrations with respect, cultural sensitivity, and an understanding of the cultural context from which these practices originate.
